Adecco are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, one of Britain's leading manufacturing companies, based in Leyland, for a talented Internal Control Auditor.

This role will be working in the Finance Team and audits undertaken will give exposure to other business areas and opportunities for development and growth.

This role is initially for 5 months

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

**Salary**: circa £50k depending on experience

**In this role you would**:

- Complete financial audits in line with Company Sarbanes Oxley requirements and deadlines
- Undertake and improve Company internal control, financial and compliance audit programmes
- Assist in the completion of quarterly and annual Internal Control reporting
- Support the Finance Department with adhoc activities as required.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A good knowledge and understanding of Finance Audit function with a minimum of 12 months experience in a Finance related role
- Fully qualified accountant
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Oracle skills desirable
- Good verbal and written communications, well developed planning and organisational skills
- Experience of Sarbanes Oxley requirements desirable
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Ability to work individually and effectively as part of a team within a Finance function
- Sensitivity to confidential nature of transactions handled
- Good organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
