**The role: Temporary**

**PURPOSE OF POST**:
To provide professional and effective administrative support to the Workforce Development and Planning Department.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- To provide administrative support for learning and development activities including booking staff onto courses, preparing training materials and setting up training rooms.
- To provide good customer service to all ICO staff, able to communicate clearly, regularly and at an appropriate level, in writing, over the telephone and in person.
- To develop and maintain relationships with all internal and external trainers as required; providing information and ensuring processes are completed within a timely manner ensuring compliance with the ICO's policies.
- To perform local record management duties and ensure compliance with retention schedules.
- To maintain relevant management information using spreadsheets, logs and databases including the organisation's Learning Management System as required.
- Previous office based administrative experience
- Good working knowledge of MS office
- Strong communication / interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise - effective time management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to start immediately
- **Basic DBS**:

- **Minimum 5 GCSE at grade C or above**
