Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents in a nursing home, assisted living, or dementia care setting.
- Plan and organize a variety of engaging activities, events, and outings to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Assess residents' interests, abilities, and needs to tailor activities to their individual preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident progress.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities into the overall care plan.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards related to resident activities.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a nursing home, senior care, assisted living, or dementia care setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and volunteers.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide quality care and support to residents.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of therapeutic recreation principles and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to adapt activities based on the cognitive and physical abilities of residents.
- Familiarity with regulations governing resident activities in long-term care facilities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.45-£11.10 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
