As a reservations agent for Rockwater, your primary responsibility will be to handle all incoming reservation requests and ensure guest satisfaction in booking their dining experiences. You will work closely with the management team and front of house staff to effectively manage the reservations and seating arrangements. Overall, your role contributes to creating a positive and efficient dining experience for guests while ensuring the smooth operation of Rockwater.

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately inputting and maintaining reservation information in Seven Rooms, ensuring that all details such as party size, special requests and dietary requirements are accurately recorded.
- Advising guests on available reservation times, special promotions, and menu options.
- Managing and coordinating table assignments to optimize seating arrangements, taking into consideration both guest preferences and operational efficiency.
- Assisting in organizing and coordinating private events or special occasion bookings, adhering to specific requirements and gathering necessary information.
- Communicating any changes or updates related to reservations to the restaurant team in a timely manner.
- Providing exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve and concerns or issues related to reservations.
- Maintaining knowledge about the restaurant’s current offerings, promotions and events to effectively communicate this information to guests.
- Collaborating with restaurant management and staff to maximize seating capacity and optimize reservation management strategies.
- Upholding restaurant policies and procedures, including confirming reservations, adhering to cancelation policies, and addressing no-shows.
- Collecting and recording required guest information for contact tracing or promotional purposes, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Maintaining a neat and organized work area while managing various administrative tasks associated with reservation management.
- During busy periods you may be required to assist with other front of house duties such as greeting and seating guests, coordinating waitlists, or answering general enquiries.
