Having taken more teams on sports tours than any other provider (12,000 last time we checked), Edwin Doran Sports Tours are amongst the leaders in tailormade school sports travel.
Using their specialist knowledge, gained over years in the industry, and global partnerships, Edwin Doran build bespoke tours with well-matched fixtures in some of the most exotic host countries in the world.
Across rugby, hockey, cricket, netball and more, our tours promote physical and mental development as a team and as individuals. And above all, teams return with life-long memories of the people they have met and learned from along the way.
An exciting opportunity of Regional Account Executive has become available within the Edwin Doran Sports Tours And MasterClass Sports Tours Sales Team. Working with education establishments and sports clubs, you will be responsible for promoting, selling and account managing the full product range of sports tours to destinations around the world for the UK’s leading sports tours brands. Operating across the globe we are passionate about being the best and pride ourselves on the unique and diverse range of holiday experiences we offer our customers and our high level of customer service and satisfaction.
**What you will be doing**:
- Develop, grow and manage your own sales pipeline by delivering excellent customer service to repeat bookers and new enquiries.
- Handling all aspects of the booking process to deliver a seamless, personalised service.
- Converting direct, business to business and marketing generated enquiries to sales and initiate follow-up procedures to ensure successful conversion.
- Accurate use of our HubSpot CRM system in a timely manner. Creating and updating new customers, opportunities, maintaining hotlists and favourite lists
- Using our inhouse reservation and quote presentation systems to prepare quotes for customer enquiries in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Have the ability to negotiate and deal with sales challenges to successfully generate maximum revenue, margin and volume in line with individual and team targets.
- Generating customer invoices and dispatching to clients.
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
- Working as part the Experience Education team to deliver cross-sell opportunities to develop incremental growth across all brands.
- Reporting accurate sales data when requested by the Sales Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date information relating to current campaigns, special offers, operational changes, product updates and competitor products.
- Support new product development projects and market research.
- Implementing new business development activity, gathering market information via social media and websites to identify decision makers for tours.
**What we are looking for**:
- A general understanding of school sports tours and an active interest in sport and travel
- Ability to work to and achieve set sales targets
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Fluency with MS excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Confident, polite telephone manner.
- Can demonstrate excellent customer relations skills to clients and colleagues
- Sales experience within the Education market (selling to schools)
- Ideally well-travelled
- Passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Experience using a CRM system to check on leads and sales (ideally HubSpot)
- Sense of fun and ability to work independently and in a small office team.
- Full drivers license and own car.
