Job brief

We are looking for an Employee Experience and Wellbeing Assistant to provide support to various activities and projects. Supporting events and editing and writing communication materials will be an important part of your job. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. If you also have experience in community engagement for example, taking a key role in communicating with a target audience, keeping them up to date and driving their interaction with projects and events, we'd like to meet you.

As part of the team, your goal will ultimately be to help ensure clear communication of our company's message across all channels. We also help to deliver internal events, create the content that goes out externally describing what it's like to work at LexisNexis UK, and help drive our Diversity & Inclusion and wellbeing strategies. We'll be working on several key projects during the period of this internship, and you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in several of them during your time here.

This could include:

- Planning and delivering our annual Town Hall event, where 1000 colleagues come together for a full day of briefings, networking and workshops
- Supporting the LNUK Thrive Wellbeing programme through writing, reviewing and updating content for internal website, setting up webinars, sending out awareness messages, or running events
- Helping to support our employee resource group focussed on living with disabilities (LNUK Enabled) to advance our work towards increasing our Disability Confidence
- Developing social media content to support our corporate channels and employees to share what it's like to be part of our community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help implement communications campaigns
- Provide planning and logístical support for projects and events
- Assist in maintaining, creating and reviewing web content
- Facilitate effective internal communications
- Prepare presentations and reports

Desired Skills
- Proficient in MS Office; including SharePoint and content management systems is a plus
- Solid editing and researching skills
- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
- Organisational and planning skills
- An inclusive, collaborative approach to working in teams
- Completed or working towards a BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or other similar qualification
