About the Role:
Developing and maintaining online practical guidance, insight and materials for energy law practitioners. You will be joining a high-functioning team, producing an established market-leading product that is an essential tool for law firms and in-house teams.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining practical guidance such as practice notes, precedents and checklists for energy law practitioners. The primary objective is to deliver indispensable content that our customers love. To do that, you will need to keep your finger on the pulse energy sector developments and engage with energy law professionals in law firms, in house and in the Bar.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creating, developing, and maintaining a market-leading content set for the Energy module— devising and writing practice notes, precedents, checklists, policy trackers, flowcharts and other materials- Monitoring developments relevant to our customer base, including identifying key themes and hot topics in the market and horizon scanning for key future policy developments- Working closely with LexisPSL Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering, providing news and analysis of the highest quality- Forging external relationships with law firms and/or authors to promote content contribution and keeping up to date with developments in Energy- Assisting with customer questions via customer feedback or the LexisAsk service and developing Q&A materials
**Requirements**:
- Experience as an Energy Lawyer or PSL for a leading private practice law firm or in-house in an energy company, with a minimum of 2 years PQE- Transactional or regulatory experience in the UK power and/or renewable sectors. Transactional or regulatory experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus-
- Excellent research, organisation and planning skills, and a strong drive and ability to meet objectives and deliverables- Proactive approach, taking responsibility for continually developing and expanding areas of expertise
