**The Job**:
Working in the Rental Income Team in the Council you will:

- Undertake a development program leading to a Level 3 Housing/Property Management Assistant qualification as part of an apprenticeship.
- Provide Business administration to the Rental Income, Welfare Benefit and Leaseholders Recovery team. This is to maintain the various correspondence logs and spread sheets.
- Help the teams to maximise income by through looking at low level arrears cases with the key emphasis being on personal contact through various means.
- Support the teams by ordering equipment and stationery where they will raise an invoice for payment.
- Provide support to the role of the Rental Income Support Officers on their patch looking at low level debts with the focus of raising a Notice being the first point of taking legal action to recover the debt. This progressing to confidently carrying out the whole Rent recovery process.
- Actively participate in service development and co-production and take on delegated tasks to contribute to resident and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and update records and support teams with data entry and numerical data.
- Develop professional relationships with your own team and with others who we work alongside and provide services to.
- Build on your existing communication skills, gain invaluable experience and build your self-confidence through your day-to-day workplace activities.

**Training and Development**:
Within your role you will:

- Complete a Level 3 Housing and Property Management Assistant qualification funded by the Council. This will involve attendance at a college and/or completing tasks in the workplace (depending on specific course requirement).
- Join a personal and professional development programme that will involve a series of varied development activities and events throughout your time with the Council.

You will have networked across the Council and be aware of the internal job market during your time with us and we will provide support on your approach to the wider job market as part of your development programme.

This vacancy will be open to only Hammersmith & Fulham residents & care leavers initially.

Have the Right to Work in the UK.

Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years (part of the funding requirement).

Not currently be qualified in Level 3 Housing and Property Management Assistant qualification or above.

Currently not undertaking any other formal form of study (e.g. college or university course).
