JEP Youth Engagement is determined to support young people to fulfil their potential. You will be required to work with children and young people in schools, supporting their mental health and well-being through a professional, therapeutic relationship. Your sessions will be worked around the specific school's daily timetable in 1-hour session slots and you may be required to travel to different locations where necessary. This is an extremely rewarding role and you will be part of an exciting new team

**Skills**
- Minimum Level 4 Counselling qual
- Experience working with young people or children
- Good understanding of supporting children and young people, and following safeguarding procedures within schools
- Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with young people Professionalism and commitment to the BACP Framework whilst working
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred

**Responsibilities**
- Willing to work in a flexible working environment, travelling to different locations
- Working within school hours
- Working alongside school’s safeguarding lead and any other agencies
- Responsible for carrying out your own clinical supervision
- Helping maintain and improve the mental wellbeing of students and young people

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
