Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Counsellors to join our team, delivering support via a 24/7 helpline and undertaking structured therapeutic sessions once probation is completed. You will work within a hybrid model, managing high-risk situations and ensuring client safety through proper risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate emotional support to clients via telephone, web chat, and email.
- Take on therapeutic sessions with clients, offering structured counselling once probation is completed.
- Manage and de-escalate high-risk situations, ensuring client safety through proper risk assessment.
- Access a wellbeing room for debriefing following challenging sessions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in counselling.
- A minimum of 150 hours of adult counselling (this can include qualification hours).
- Level 4 Counselling Diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.
Working Hours & Hybrid Model:
- Office Hours: 7am to 8pm, with shifts spread across the week.
- Full-time: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
- Part-time: Flexible hybrid working options.
