**Position Title: Human Resource Business Partner**
**Location: Hull**

**What you will bring to the role**:
- work closely with HR colleagues at a UK Divisional level and with IPL Group HR functions to deliver key projects and initiatives that nurtures a positive and engaging culture and builds high performing teams.
- role modelling the IPL Values
- working alongside the General Manager and his direct reports to drive business results and ensure the right people are in the right roles
- alongside the General Manager, lead site employee communications to ensure our people are engaged, aware of the business performance, site priorities and other key activities or changes.
- manage day to day HR activities (onboarding and offboarding of employees, management of all recruitment activities including temp agency workers, maintaining employee files, ensuring data accuracy and maintenance of employee records on our ERP system)
- produce HR reports when required including headcount, overtime, attendance etc
- ensure all employees are informed of and follow local HR policies and procedures.
- manage all employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- oversee annual HR processes including performance management and pay planning for hourly and salaried staff
- key role in leading and delivering on several people & organisation imperatives including, employee communications and engagement, leadership and talent development.
**Essential experience and skills**:
- 5 years’ plus Generalist HR experience preferably in Manufacturing/Production operation
- ideally CIPD qualification.
- in-depth knowledge of key HR competencies; Employment Legislation, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits.
- successfully worked in environments undergoing significant change and transformation.
- interpersonal Skills, including communication, discretion, coaching and influencing
- energetic, focused on enabling the business, with a passion for people and culture
