- **EQUANS is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Hebburn on a Permanent basis. This is a Fulltime role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.**

**The HRBP supports Operational Managers in the Business Unit. The responsibilities are wide and range from the delivery of day to day HR and training activities such as dealing with employee relations issues, managing recruitment and selection, identifying training needs, ensuring required training is delivered and coaching the management population, through to supporting the business with any change management initiatives. The HRBP must engage with both internal and external stakeholders and support the business in retaining and winning new business through driving business excellence, compliance, delivering contractual commitments, managing risk, process improvement and lead on TUPE In/Out activities.**

**What will you deliver?**:

- Engage with Senior Management Teams and business unit operational teams to formulate and implement the HR agenda.
- Develop effective partnering relationships with business stakeholders including line managers, wider business functional teams and where appropriate clients to deliver business objectives.
- Work with wider Equans HR community to deliver a best in class HR offering.
- Supporting senior leadership teams promote a culture of employee engagement. Champion behaviours based on the foundations of our company values.
- Facilitate talent management activities including recruitment, succession planning, apprenticeship, and graduate development.
- Collaborating with the L&D Manager develop, implement and evaluating learning solutions in line with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate employee learning outcomes to ensure business objectives are achieved.
- Produce monthly HR reports and analyses trends/metrics to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, business unit restructures and TUPE programs.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues including investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and absence management. Support and coach line managers with appropriate advice in line with current legislation.
- Provide guidance on HR processes for line managers.

**Who are we looking for?**:

Education and Experience:

- CIPD Level 5 Qualified or relevant experience
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including engagement, talent management, employee, and learning and development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current UK employment legislation, policies, and best practice.
- Working within a construction environment (desirable)
- IT literate
