**Skills & Experience Required for the Purchasing Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain: FMCG**
- Experience with purchasing or demand planning is essential.
- Competent in the use of MS Excel (formulas, pivots, etc.).
- Highly organized and able to problem solve with logical thinking.
- Effective communicator with an ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Have strong numerical skills, and ability to work accurately with data.

**Responsibilities of the Purchasing Procurement Specialist (Supply Chain) role: FMCG**
- Purchasing is the main linchpin to the smooth and successful running of the business.
- Ordering the right volume to arrive at the correct time is crucial to help continued growth.
- Understand product trends, and ensure the right forecast is considered before placing orders.
- Placing purchase orders within agreed timescales.
- Organizing collections with logístical partners.
- Accountable for forecasting base, promotional, and product launch volumes.
- Shelf life and end-of-life management to meet agreed KPIs.
- Key coordination with the sales team, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of business processes.
- Retailer engagement.
