**Duties and Responsibilities**: The Newborn Hearing Screening Programme is a national evidence
- based programme being implemented across England. The aim of the programme is to improve, child health and development. Principle Responsibilities 1. To provide comprehensive quality administrative and clerical support to the NHSP team.
2. To set up and maintain an efficient office, ensuring that FNP materials and resources are reproduced in a timely manner and efficiently organised to enable maximum clinical contact time for screeners 3. To input and quality check data in the NHSP information system (S4h) 4. To prepare and summarise data in preparation for standardised reports.
5. To support the development of publicity and other materials for parents and stakeholders for the NHSP Programme. Core Responsibilities 1. To set up and maintain an efficient office, ensuring that NHSP materials and resources are reproduced in a timely manner and efficiently organised to enable maximum clinical contact time for Screeners 2.
To input NHSP data, as required, in a timely and accurate manner into the NHSP information system (S4h) and work with the NHSP Supervisor to establish and maintain data management and quality assurance systems and processes. 3. To utilise computerised data entry equipment and various work processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programmes, such as Excel, to enter, store and retrieve information as requested and summarise data in preparation of standardises reports. 4.
To comply with the NHSP requirements for the collation and compilation of statistical information from the S4h system for special reports for local and national purposes. 5. To provide accurate monitoring information in a timely way as required by the NHSP Lead, supervisor, team, and commissioners. 6.
To support the scheduling and organisation of meetings for the NHSP team, preparing agendas, transcribing, and typing notes of meetings, circulating, and distributing papers. 7. Type material from audio or handwritten notes including correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents using all Microsoft Word packages. 8.
To arrange home visits and make reminder calls for visits as requested by the supervisor and screeners. 9. To provide team support tasks, such as photocopying, filing, ordering stationery and equipment. 10.
To sort, distribute and where appropriate deal with correspondence and messages. 11. To be responsible for efficient processing, secure storage of paper and electronic information systems for all service users. 12.
To ensure a friendly and welcoming point of contact to all service users, giving prompt attention to their requests, directing enquiries, and signposting as appropriate. 13. To deal with information in a tactful, sensitive, and strictly confidential manner, showing empathy and judgement, in liaison with appropriate professionals as required. 14.
To ensure timely provision of information to clients and staff in line with service requirements e.g., appointments, meeting. 15.To develop publicity material for parents and stakeholders for the NHSP Programme. 16. To maintain confidentiality and adhere to Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust policies and procedures.
17. To be responsible for prioritising own workload, ensuring strict deadlines are met. 18. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as agreed with the local manager.

Internal Child and Family Teams (Health visiting and School nursing) Midwifery Manager and Midwives GPs Clinic, Clerical Staff Community Paediatrics Specialist Childrens services Clinical psychologist Audiologist Information and Data Responsibilities Maintain thorough record-keeping Maintain systems to monitor documentation including recording and storing all relevant information ensuring it is securely held and can be accessed easily. Information Governance Employees of the Trust must comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. The postholder must not; either during their employment, or following termination of their employment, disclose any information relating to service users or employees, or of the lawful business practices, of the organisation.
The postholder will be required, when and where appropriate to the role, to comply with the processing of requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 The postholder must comply with Trust policies that protect the information assets of the organization from unauthorized disclosure, modification, destruction, inappropriate access or use and must pay due regard to the requirements of the NHS Confidentiality Code of Practice.
