Established in 1963, our client is a trusted name in the industrial oven and incubator manufacturing industry.
They have an exciting opportunity for a conscientious Office Administrator to join the friendly team at their Widnes site.
**About the Office Administrator Role**:
Reporting to the Office Manager/Supervisor you will complete administrative tasks to support the day-to-day running of the office.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Maintain complete and accurate records using the computer and any manual system.
- Delivery note processing.
- Process purchase orders and match purchase invoices to orders/acknowledgements/delivery notes, ensuring any deviations are reported.
- Enter purchase ledger cash/cheques and allocate to outstanding invoices on computer.
- Managing customer queries from the very first initial enquiry through to delivery.
- Invoicing customers and paying suppliers.
- Taking enquiries for new sales and setting up new customers accounts (both in the UK & abroad) if required.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters concerning the company.
- Managing information on the Pegasus Opera system.
- Check goods in and receipt them onto Pegasus Opera system.
- Chase orders and update Pegasus Opera system.
- Raise purchase order requests (during holiday cover periods).
- Keep updated stock labels and advise of items to be created as stock item.
- Arrange returns paperwork according to company policies and update returns log.
**Advantageous**:
- Working knowledge of Pegasus Opera or Sage.
- Accounts experience.
**About You**:
Our client is looking for someone who's organised, with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and IT skills in Microsoft Office. Previous experience using Pegasus Opera would be an advantage. There is also a financial element to this rolewhere the post holder will be involved in invoicing, order processing and banking.
