We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the CAF American Donor Fund (CADF) team as our **Charity Relationship Officer. **CADF is the market leading Donor Advised Fund for dual US/UK taxpayers, helping individuals give to the charitable causes that they care about.

We make over 1,300 grants each year to charities around the world, totalling over £65m in 2021-22, and this exciting new role has been created to help ensure that our relationships with charitable partners are as effective and impactful as possible. You will ensure that we perform appropriate due diligence relating to our grants, enabling funds to safely reach where they are intended, as well as working with charity partners to maintain positive relationships and obtaining grant reporting to comply with our regulatory obligations and to help us better capture impact.

**As our Charity Relationship Officer your key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage relationships with key charitable partners in order to support donor engagement and highlight the impact made by CAF American Donor Fund
- Take a leading role in conducting due diligence checks and organising submission packs for high risk charity verifications, including ensuring that all anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are adhered to
- Coordinate CADF’s annual grantee reporting activity to ensure grants are reported on adequately

**Skills required of our Charity Relationship Officer**:

- Strong people skills and positive communication style
- Knowledge of/experience within the charity and grant-making sector
- Attention to detail to ensure that our grant-making due diligence is accurate and in accordance with procedures
