Are you looking for a unique Legacy Administration position, in a team which handled over £22.5m in gifts last year?

We’re looking for a talented Legacy Officer to join our Legacies Team at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) or alternatively someone with good administrative skills and a willingness to learn on the job.

**What you’ll do**

At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Legacy Officer you too will play an integral part in what we do.

We are looking for a Legacy Officer to join the team to support with the administration of straightforward gifts left to CAF, respond to client enquiries, liaise with executors, and be responsible for accurate record keeping and filing with respect to all legacy cases that we handle.

As our Legacy Officer you will:

- Manage the administration of legacy gifts, both pecuniary and residuary legacies, but also have some exposure to more complex residuary gifts. This will include liaising with executors to collate required information
- Manage the onward granting process, ensuring fees are calculated and deducted properly and funds are disbursed in line with client wishes
- Review Deeds of Variation and other draft documents from clients to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Provide support to the Legacy Manager for complex cases, including representing the Legacy Team at internal and external meetings
- Contribute to business development, by preparing and delivering presentations to Will writers, estate planners etc.
- Support the wider Private Client team as required, by supporting with expertise when clients have legacy giving plans
- Other support to the Legacy Manager as required
