**Job purpose**

To use industry experience and knowledge to provide detailed estimates for customers. To ensure estimates are issued within set timeframes and profitability is achieved. To continuously seek out new estimating opportunities and provide excellent customer service.

**Main duties**
- To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
- To provide repair/remedial quotations following call outs and maintenance.
- To send quotations to customers and chase for updates appropriately.
- To liaise with suppliers for best pricing and lead times.
- To liaise with customers regarding their requirements and any new sales.
- To provide general customer service updates.
- To ensure that engineers are gathering enough details from jobs and upholding standards by reporting back to coordinators.
- To set tasks and chase quotes daily for updates/new orders.
- To manage the quotes submitted tab on the CRM System to ensure you are working as live as possible with no back log, within a 6-month time frame.
- To update the prices and parts appendix for each customer to ensure continuity and consistency in quotes.
- To have sound knowledge of past jobs.
- To process all repair quotes within a 24-hour timeframe.
- To ensure that the CRM system is updated with all relevant information to allow the small works team to order parts as efficiently as possible.
- To ensure that product knowledge is kept up to date.
- To have basic technical knowledge on parts.
- To set attributes of how quoted repairs are going to be carried out.
- To ensure customer satisfaction on pricing by keeping competitive.
- To have commercial awareness and ensure profitability is achieved on all jobs.
- To keep up to date with the product market.
- To ensure the different estimating spreadsheets, templates and pricing matrix are kept up to date.
- Timely reporting to customers on engineer’s visits.
- Any other duties as required.
