**Role Overview**:
The Systems Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting operations by spearheading the development of in-house systems and serving as a technical expert within their domain. Reporting directly to the Systems Director, the incumbent will lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing automation and systemization across various business functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Planning and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with departments to identify technological needs and propose innovative software solutions.
- Contribute to the development of the company's technology strategy, aligning software development projects with business goals.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into system design and functionality.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and external developers for specialized system components or integration services.

**Development and Implementation**:

- Design and develop bespoke software solutions to streamline critical business processes such as construction project management, financial management, and inventory tracking.
- Create user-friendly interfaces to improve overall workflow and productivity.
- Conduct thorough testing of new systems and updates before deployment across the organization.

**System Maintenance and Support**:

- Serve as the primary contact for resolving system issues and providing timely technical support to users.
- Regularly update in-house software to add new features, enhance functionality, and address security vulnerabilities.
- Develop user manuals and training materials for in-house systems and conduct training sessions for employees.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard sensitive company information and ensure data integrity.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in a project management or construction environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of user interface design principles and software testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Experience in vendor management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with security protocols and data protection regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or project management frameworks.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL or MongoDB.
