- Compliance**We are seeking a Technical Compliance Officer to join our dynamic Risk and Compliance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments, particularly our technical teams, to ensure the effective delivery of compliance activities and development. Your responsibilities will include reviewing compliance-related risks, devising appropriate mitigation strategies, assisting in resolving compliance incidents, and monitoring the outcomes.**

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across all jurisdictions where Bede operates, providing essential compliance support. This role also offers the chance for occasional travel, either for training purposes or to address other compliance-related matters.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Discuss and agree development priorities across Product and Compliance leaders and ensure those priorities are communicated to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Review and approve internal compliance requirements for development
- Undertake ongoing discussion with the development teams
- Take an active role in technical discussions with internal stakeholders on how compliance could be implemented or improved on the Bede Platform
- Understand and manage the internal development backlog with support from our Product Managers and Product Leads
- Review technical requirements in the jurisdictions Bede operates and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance-related features
- Maintain regular contact with key internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and ensure completion of compliance-related training with Bede’s technical teams
- Work closely with others within the team and across the business to support the onboarding of new operators
- Work closely with the Senior Compliance Officer to support development initiatives where required.
- Support the Commercial team in researching and assessing regulatory requirements and regulations for both new and existing markets and assist with developing solutions to meet those requirements
- Facilitate releases for regulatory reporting components where required
- Maintain the compliance configuration plan
