Legal Secretary/administration Assistant

We are looking to recruit a full-time legal secretary/administration assistant to work in our busy residential conveyancing department in Fleet.
An experienced legal secretary with knowledge of all aspects of a conveyancing transaction (from initial opening of a file to registration). Knowledge of a case management system and digital dictation also preferable but not essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office necessary.
**The Role**:
Supporting the fee earner by ensuring all routine administrative processes are undertaken along with co-ordinating diary commitments.
Preparing correspondence through audio typing and word processing.
Dealing with routine post, drafting communications as appropriate.
Administration duties including daily filing, opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
Assisting clients in person or on the telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly way to ensure the firm's standards for client care are maintained.
Dealing with client queries whenever possible and referring matters to the fee earner as and when necessary.
Possessing excellent IT, administration and organisation skills, good typing and audio typing ability, a keen eye for detail, a professional and confident manner along with strong client care and communication skills.
Requiring a flexible working approach and an ability to prioritise against tight deadlines, you need to possess a willingness and the capability to work as part of the wider team when needed.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent client care skills, be highly organised and will have the ability to use your own initiative, work effectively under pressure and possess strong communications skills, as well as an acute eye for detail.
