**Operational Change Specialist - ARDGA841881 - Remote**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, reporting to the Regional Operations Director you will support the Division with any operational change needed that impacts the business.
Our Operational Change Specialist will work with the business to ensure operational change is delivered efficiently, effectively and on time, providing support to drive, test, improve and document operational business processes and Regional operations projects, to ensure we are providing the highest levels of service, accuracy, & compliance, to facilitate operational efficiencies and business improvement in a consistent & compliant manner.

**Key Role Accountabilities**:
- This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities._
- Support Business Improvement through liaison with relevant business partners & key stakeholders to identify, document & facilitate process change, delivering efficiencies, positively impacting income &/or driving better outcomes for customers.
- Facilitate delivery of change to support day to day trading, increase efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce risks such as Errors & Omissions.
- Provide support to Regional Operations Projects as required; co-ordinating resource, communicating updates, following up action points and manage specifically allocated tasks to ensure that all relevant Change is delivered by priority and in a timely fashion.
- Foster and support a culture of continuous improvement within insurance operations though ongoing review, collaborating with Business Teams to realise opportunities to optimise functionality, documenting & rolling out process changes, promoting best practice and encouraging feedback and innovation.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and continuing support of system generated document management (change control) and production, which meet the needs of the business and focus on customer needs through a Consumer Duty lens.
- Lead on the creation and implementation of UAT/test scripts. Provide operational sign off for change and implementation of controls/governance to ensure adherence to procedures for both new and existing processes to ensure any updates are correct and reviewed/signed off before release into Production environment/out to business users.
- Provide evidence of control framework & accurate action governance around all supported change, testing & processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot any bugs that have been raised by either resolving the issue in the first instance or escalating to the IT team.
- Work with operational & business colleagues to achieve consistency across all operational disciplines.
- Support the implementation of new processes and procedures, coordinating with all departments/stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.
- Create and document workflows that support improvements to existing processes or introduce new processes where a need is identified.
**What we are looking for in an Operational Change Specialist**:
- Insurance industry experience, with an understanding of insurance operations and processes
- An appreciation and working knowledge of regulatory/legislative framework within the Insurance Industry.
- Organised, self-motivated and comfortable to work unsupervised in a proactive manner.
- Confident & assertive communicator, capable of sharing written & verbal information effectively to convey complex concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with ability to quantify and present ideas succinctly.
- Adaptable, with experience of developing & fostering strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
- Understanding of the Project delivery lifecycle with practical experience of managing multiple workstreams and interdependencies between projects.
- Pragmatic, with a proven ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and work autonomously, using pre-agreed rationales to prioritise tasks and confidence to make measured decisions.
- Experience of working on Acturis PAS system, preferably with first-hand user experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of effecting change across a complex organisation.
- An ability to prioritise, use initiative & to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and make data driven decisions specific to insurance operations.
