The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 4 Biomedical Scientist in Cytology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Northern Ireland. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular Cytology service.

Position: Biomedical Scientist (Cytology)

Banding: 4

Location: Northern Ireland, Belfast

Hours: Full-time

Duration: Ongoing

**What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?**
As a Biomedical Scientist in Cytology, you will screen and diagnose patients. On a day to day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

**Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position**:

- HCPC registered
- Microtomy experience
- UK NHS or private sector Cytology laboratory experience
- Must have a Certificate in Cervical Cytology Screening and Liquid Based Cytology Conversion course qualification & must have undertaken an update course within the past year
