Sales Administrator

Our client based on the Knowsley Industrial Park is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their well established, growing team.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, starting on £10.00 per hour.
**Role duties include**:
- To check and provide accurate input of orders received.
- To represent the company professionally and highlight potential opportunities to the sales team.
- Answering inbound telephone calls to the Sales Team/Office efficiently.
- Work effectively under instruction of the relevant Sales Manager.
- Develop customer relationships and provide excellent customer service while fulfilling the overall needs of customers, public sector sales team and the company.
- Work closely with other internal business functions to achieve results.
- Perform price and stock checks for customers.
- Update customers on logistics and delivery Etas / proving PODs as requested.
- Administration of the setup of new accounts.
- Act as a key account manager for key customers as assigned.
- Any other reasonable ad hoc tasks as required from time to time by Management.
- Utilise video conferencing as a way to communicate with customers as required.
**Skills required**:
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to process tasks through established procedures.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines for self and team.
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with customers and external contact.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise own and team workload.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work and willing to go the extra mile.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
