**Overview of the role**:
We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our busy, enthusiastic team based in Bletchley. This is a full time, permanent role supporting the Administration department.

You will be joining a small business that is expanding quickly with a strong family ethos. Because of this, we are looking for someone who not only has the preferred experience, but who thrives in a team setting. **Duties and responsibilities**:

- Maintaining spreadsheets and databases and ensuring they are always up to date
- Forwarding sales order invoices to customers, taking payments and planning dispatch
- Liaising with customers to maintain and update credit accounts by contacting them for payments
- Booking deliveries in and out with customers and suppliers.
- Communicating with transport companies for pick-up and delivery updates
- Liaising with the Marketing, Sales, and Warehouse Teams for the smooth functioning of the business
- Developing and maintaining web content for our multiple selling platforms, such as writing product descriptions, adding imagery, and updating product listings
- Researching and sourcing nutritional information and ingredients for products
- Researching competitor prices and undertaking monitoring activities that will assist us with our competitor research
- Supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns to achieve sales
- Attending to visitors via the intercom and in person to ensure they are directed to the relevant department
- Undertaking any other administration and ad-hoc tasks as required

- Organising and stocking the office and staff kitchen inventory

**Experience**:

- Previous administrative experience
- Previous experience working with company databases and websites
- Excellent organisational skills
- Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
