**Business Description**:Phoenox Textiles Ltd are a family-owned têxtile manufacturer based in Clayton West, Huddersfield and we have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of award-winning brands and distribute worldwide. Having started with just 10 members of staff we now employ over 170 people and continue to innovate and expand in our sector.
- We are looking for an experienced administrator for our busy factory office. We are looking for a good all-rounder who is proactive, practical and can work well under their own steam, as well as in a team, prioritising tasks in line with the needs of the business. _
- **Duties to include, but not limited to**:_
- _Manage all inductions and documentation of new staff and contractors._
- _Working with our Health & Safety advisor monthly to make sure all targets are met._
- _Near miss reporting& accident reporting._
- _Collating daily safety checks for each department._
- _Collating all machinery daily & weekly preventative maintenance checks._
- _Collating First Aid monthly stock check sheets._
- _Stock checking the First Aid cabinet & reordering._
- _Checking all eye wash stations to ensure in date._
- _Booking First Aid courses._
- _Attending & taking minutes at Health & Safety meetings._
- _Using our training matrix to identify any training needs and liaise with Team leaders & Managers to train and sign off employees._
- _Keeping the Fire evacuation up to date._
- _Updating Health & Safety posters (Fire Marshall/First Aid)_
- _Keep the fire registers accurate and in date._
- _Arranging interviews._
- _Right to work check for new starters._
- _Adding any maintenance issues to the Capa list so action can be taken._
- _Assisting with the completion of standards for inspection for each department reporting on non-conformance._
- _Assisting to gather evidence to upload Verisio, closing any non-conformance._
- _Any other Ad hoc requirements._
- **Qualifications and Experience **_- _
- _Recent experience within a similar role._
- _Strong time management to meet deadlines._
- _Excellent communication skills._
- _Good literacy and numeracy skills required._
- _A friendly and approachable demeanour as to represent the company well._
- _Knowledge of basic computer software, Excel and Word._
