Shiva Hotels Group has an opportunity available for a highly experienced **Director of Corporate Sales** to join our team.

**Purpose and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for creating a corporate sales strategy for each individual hotel with the Shiva Luxury Collection.
- Increase market share of the corporate segment for the portfolio.
- Day-to-day management of the members of the corporate sales team and ensure individual targets are met.
- Manage and educate internal stakeholders on requirements and lead generation of the corporate segment.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Working with the Director of Sales, develop and implement standards of performance documentation including brand, specific hotel and company activities, including legal and best practice protocols and ensuring that appropriate sales strategies are in place.
- Manage direct reports in the delivery of their work practices with advice and guidance from the Director of Sales and relevant Head Office/Shared Service personnel.
- Ensure sales activities, including but not limited to, are actioned and ensure that Director of Sales and Head Office/Shared Service Centre personal are consulted and provide advice and direction:

- In conjunction with the Director of Sales, create and implement a sales activity plan for the corporate segment.
- Coordinate client meetings, Fam trips, trade shows and events (national and international) including attendance on site and travel arrangements.
- Manage corporate consortia programs and coordinate relevant marketing activities.
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance of key corporate clients.
- Plan and conduct sales trips to assigned markets when required.
- Responsible for idea generation and prospecting new business to grow market share whilst also looking at ways to increase share from existing partnerships.
- Travel between hotel sites for client meetings and Fam trips.
- Day to day management of the members of the corporate sales team and ensure individual targets are met.
- Research competitor's sales strategies to identify ways to group occupancy and ADR and increase market share.

**What we would like you to bring**:

- Good general level of education.
- Highly experienced in Corporate Sales with a minimum of 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment of follow through and delivery.
- Able to start proactively selling straight away from your own knowledge and client contacts.
- Good knowledge of the inner workings of corporate travel.
- Sound knowledge of hotel systems.

**If you are able to demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage**:

- Degree in hospitality management, or revenue management qualifications.
- 3 years' experience from within the 5-start luxury market.
- Experience coaching junior team members.
- Good Knowledge of the corporate consortia agents.
