Well known university based in London is seeking to recruit a Timetabling Manager for an initial 6 month contract role to start ASAP working on a hybrid on and off site basis.
Must be available to work on site full time for the first month - regular weekly free covid testing will be available on site - thereafter the role more than likely will move to being part time remote and part time working on site.
**Your new role**To assist the Timetabling Manager in planning, designing and delivering the University's Academic Timetable making use of Syllabus Plus
You will have ideally 5 plus years experience of working with the Syllabus Plus timetabling system and be able to understand the system from both a user and system support perspective.
Some key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Take responsibility for the scheduling arrangements for several academic departments within published time scales (managing 1/3rd of the Universities course portfolio)
- This includes: - liaising with academic departments and compiling information on teaching delivery requirements
- The work of the post holder is largely autonomous, so requires identifying the appropriate course of action and implementing a solution independently
- Providing high-level and pro-active support to the Timetables Office in the construction and maintenance of a School's teaching timetable.
- Plan, prioritise and organise a busy workload, using initiative to deal appropriately with changing priorities and situations
- Building positive relationships with other professional services teams and academic staff o updating course and degree programme information on the timetables database
**What you'll need to succeed**Five plus years of working on the Syllabus Plus timetabling system with strong troubleshooting and system support experience along with experience of the above skills as well as being an organised individual who is able to manage multiple tasks on a simultaneousbasis.

Extensive experience with Semestry, CMIS or Celcat.
