We are recruiting for a Production & Purchasing Co-ordinator position on behalf of an impressive manufacturing organization based in Leeds,
Due to recent growth and expansion, this employer is actively recruiting in various departments, one of the key roles we are looking to fill is for a Production & Purchasing Co-ordinator to be based in their Leeds site.
Based just a few miles from the M621, the successful Production & Purchasing Co-ordinator can easily commute from surrounding towns and cities including Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury and Halifax.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production & Purchasing Co-ordinator will take day-to-day responsibility for production and purchasing administration activities within the company.
- The _Production & Purchasing Co-ordinator _will be responsible for:_
- Verifying purchase requisitions from within the factory and clarifying unclear items.
- Checking inventory levels of tooling and consumables and investigating variances.
- Forwarding information on available items by verifying stock and scheduling delivery to production and sales department.
- Preparing purchase orders by verifying specifications and price, obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items.
- Obtaining purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers, monitoring, and expediting orders.
