My client is in the Insurance space and provide their clients with insurance and reinsurance services on a global basis, they pride themselves on providing a quality and bespoke service to their brokers and clients.

**THE ROLE**

They are on the hunt for a **Governance Administrator** to join their small and friendly City based team. Your remit will be to provide administrative and minute taking support to the Governance team in the delivery of high quality, professional corporate governance and compliance services to the business; along with ensuring a smooth operation of the Governance and Compliance Frameworks. This is a superb opportunity for someone actively aiming to develop their career in the Governance space, my client will provide **study support** for you to complete the **Chartered Governance Institute** qualifications.
- Set up the board and committee meetings, assisting with organising and maintaining agendas and meeting packs
- Own the Governance Outlook calendar
- Assist with the preparation of template agendas, maintain meeting attendance records, tracking the status of draft minutes for review, following up meeting papers and creating meeting packs
- Take action points or minutes for management committees
- Maintain the group corporate structure, processes, and management and develop an understanding of the principles of corporate governance.
- Provide administrative support to the team and Board members
- Log legal documentation and contracts into a central register

**ABOUT YOU**
- Interest in pursuing a Governance career along with professional qualification
- Ability to work proactively under own initiative, prioritise, handle time pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time with flexibility to adapt to shifting expectations and priorities.
- Self-motivated, a strong team player with a keen sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
