Our client, based in Daventry NN118UF, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is a temporary position for 9 months possibly longer , offering an hourly rate ranging from £13.15 to £16.44.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing vital administrative support to their team.

Your day-to-day tasks may include typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, calendaring, record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, and sorting/distributing mail. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work on special projects, such as recording, compiling, and retrieving information.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills. Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office are also highly desirable. You should be able to follow generally defined procedures and work well under the direction of others.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the team, including typing, filing, answering phones, and scheduling
Coordinate meetings and conferences, ensuring all necessary resources are available
Keep accurate records and assist with record retrieval as needed
Assist with the procurement process by raising purchase order numbers
Act as the main point of contact, handling telephone queries and directing them to the appropriate personRequirements:

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with MS Office
Familiarity with Lotus Notes is a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
The successful applicant will be required to work some weekends & Some events. The client has between 20-37 events each year, the selected individual will be required to support with roughly 10 Marketing Events.
