Mission Systems Engineer

*** Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK SC Clearance ***

We are looking for a Mission Systems Engineer to join us and be involved in engineering activities across Air Defence projects, you will also work across many other business functions and engineering disciplines that are necessary to design and develop our Systems of System platforms.
Day to day you will be -

You will play a key role in bringing components and systems together to form a System of Systems
Understanding and manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop
Supporting in concepting, architecting, design and testing of Mission Systems
Involved in elements of the qualification and certification of Mission Systems
Manage the creation of engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process.
Driving and coordinating collaboration with team members, multi-disciplinary internal specialists, and external partnersExperience we are looking for -

A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
Systems Engineering and Engineering lifecycle experience
Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. SysML & Matlab)
