We are actively seeking an experienced Head of Commercial to join a growing business in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will embody a commitment to delivering quality work, with a continuous improvement ethos to drive the enhancement of commercial processes and efficiencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of our commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals

• Deliver robust financial analysis with actionable insights monthly

• Actively oversee forecasts and manage deviations

• Develop and nurture the current commercial team ensuring that they attain their maximum potential

• Design and enhance commercial processes to maximise performance and efficiencies

• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate effectively with teams across the business to ensure all opportunities are capitalised

• Analyse opportunities and risks ensuring these are effectively communicated

• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience at Commercial Management level within the construction industry

• Experienced in leading a commercial team

• In-depth knowledge of contract law with strong contractual experience

• BSc Honours Quantity Surveying

• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience of engaging with clients and contractors

• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritise your workload effectively

• Driven individual with strong leadership and influencing skills
