**About the role**
As a member of the Commercial Diving and Hyperbaric Team, the Head of Commercial Diving & Hyperbaric Sales will lead the Sales and Service teams, delivering excellence to our customers, and ensuring that sales targets are achieved in line with the JFD approved budgets.
In this role you will lead your team to achieve or exceed the budgetary targets and promote our range of Commercial Diving and Hyperbaric :Products, Services and Systems. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can deliver in a customer focused environment. You will need to be a versatile influencer and able to engage others and build long-term collaborative relationships.
As our Head of Commercial Sales, your key accountabilities will include:
- Lead the JFD Commercial Diving and Hyperbaric Sales Team: Delivering Product, Services and Systems
- Develop Strong relationship with Customers, connecting with key Customer Stakeholders to manage and their account, portfolio of Product, Services and Systems requirements.
- Implement a Sales Team to directly Manage Customers Key account portfolio
- Promoting the full suite of JFD Diving and Hyperbaric
- Product, Service and System offerings with particular emphasis in expanding the portfolio of services and/or contracts
- Manage our Internal Customer Service and Sales team, setting targets and deadlines to meet our customer’s satisfaction within the JFD Financial and Performance targets
- Proactively engage with the market through meeting, direct enquiries, relationship management, events and where applicable agents or subcontractors
- Establish and maintain a Product Line portfolio that Delivers success for our customers, achieving or exceeding contract performance obligations
- Provide updates on competitors and potential partners
- Attend Sales Seminars, Tradeshow and engage with Industry
- Deliver short
- and long-term financial objectives, including budget adherence and forecast accuracy
- Ensure health, safety, environment, sustainability, and security objectives are adhered, with direct accountability for safety of services personnel and safety of our products for customers and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, supported by Legal & Compliance and HSEQS departments
- Maintaining elevated levels of engagement with the team and customers, promoting a resilient, diverse, high performing team.
**What do you need?**
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Technical or Sales Engineering, Commercial or Business Degree
- Knowledgeable in commercial diving and hyperbaric rescue
- Manufacturing of a diverse product range
- Senior management
- Business and commercial acumen
- Setting and delivering medium
- and long-term strategy, budget, and manpower plans
- IT literate and capable of developing detailed business plans and reports.
