PROJECTS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

RSW are looking to recruit an experienced Projects Administrative Assistant for their client, a specialist manufacturer based on the outskirts of Cardiff. Due to the location, the successful candidate MUST be able to drive and have their own transport. Excellent progression opportunities available for the right candidate.

Job Purpose:

To provide a comprehensive administration service to the Commercial Project Department. To be responsible for ensuring that all records associated with the projects are accurately maintained and administered.

Act as the first point of contact for customers to meet their needs, and ensure they get maximum value from the business.

Reporting To:

Day to Day reporting to the Project Co-Ordinator.

Responsibilities:

Deliver a comprehensive administrative support service to the Commercial Project Department.

To be responsible for ensuring all spreadsheets and records associated with the projects are accurately maintained and administered.

Act as the first point of contact for customers.

Ensure customer needs are met and they receive maximum value from the business.

Encourage early project planning, phasing, and forecasting.

Communicate with all relevant internal departments to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of project-based sales, including feedback for improvements.

Maintain orderly and up to date project-related information.

Handle and resolve enquiries received via phone calls, and emails.

Review projects to compare information from different clients and maintain folders.

Provide support to the Project Sales team and Project Co-ordinator.

Communicate with customers to obtain missing/required information.

Verify DFAs against quotes prior to processing orders.

Input orders accurately.

Provide cross-cover for the Commercial department.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven experience of working in a similar role.

* Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Salary £24,000

Working hours are 7:30 – 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 – 2 pm on a Friday.
