About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA with a specialisation in SEMH Needs to join our team in Edmonton, London, UK. This is a full-time, long-term position offering a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, commencing as soon as possible.

The role has become available due to our school’s expansion and the increased demand for additional support within our SEMH provision. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide crucial support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, with an average class size of 25 students, ensuring all learners receive tailored assistance to thrive academically and emotionally.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with SEMH students in an educational setting.

• Understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques.

• Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN support are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN students with SEMH needs.

• Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to monitor student progress and development.

• Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting learning materials as necessary.

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes inclusivity and wellbeing.
