About the role: Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher ready to inspire young minds in a vibrant and supportive environment? We have an exciting full-time, long-term opportunity for a KS1 Teacher at a fantastic primary school in Edmonton As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.
About the school: Join our dynamic team at a large, two-form entry school with a roll of approximately 500 children. Our school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. We offer a well-resourced setting with interactive whiteboards in every classroom, as well as access to laptop trolleys and iPads. Our facilities include dedicated spaces for reading, maths, science, humanities, and art. We also support children with Special Educational Needs through our specialised units, including provisions for autism, complex needs, and additional speech and language support.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Supporting and assessing student progress, and adapting teaching strategies to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching practices.
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture that values respect, kindness, and high achievement.
