About the role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly those who are non-verbal. This role presents a unique opportunity to join our team and make a real impact in the lives of our students.

As a SEN-TA, you will work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will assist with communication strategies, sensory integration, and behavior management techniques, ensuring that each student receives the individualised attention they deserve. This role is full-time and offers competitive compensation.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly those who are non-verbal.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD, focusing on communication, social skills, and academic progress.

• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and other relevant stakeholders.
