About the role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Specialist to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role has become available due to the expansion of our SEN provision, reflecting our commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our students. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with ASD across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from £85 to £100 per day.
Application Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must have relevant experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, a patient and empathetic approach towards supporting students with SEN, and preferably relevant qualifications or training in special education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing one-to-one support for students with ASD, tailoring interventions to meet their individual needs.
• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
• Assisting students with ASD in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
