About the role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN TA with a specialism in SEMH to support students with anxiety in a school in Edmonton, London, UK. This full time, long term position is ideal for those with a background in Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and Special Educational Needs. The salary range is £85-£100 per day. Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with students and colleagues

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents to support student learning and academic success.

• Demonstrated ability to provide academic support to students, including tutoring and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop trusting relationships and implement personalised strategies to support students with anxiety and other SEMH needs.

• Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide one-on-one or small group support sessions.

• Aid the class teacher in delivering tailored educational plans and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
