This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Children Nurse (RCN) to join a reputable NHS hospital based in Preston, UK.
The successful Registered Children Nurse (RCN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities for Registered Children Nurse (RCN):
* Must have recent of experience in one or more specialty wards mentioned below –
* Paediatric, Paediatric A&E, Neonate, NICU, or PICU
* Providing nursing care and support to patients with various health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
* Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by paediatrician
* Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care
* Providing support to families and carers, as well as helping patients to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life
* Monitoring patients' progress and responding to changes in their condition
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
* Participating in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills
To be considered for Registered Children Nurse (RCN) role, the ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
* Valid in-date Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) membership
* At least 6 months of working experience with a valid UK visa
* Vaccinated against Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tuberculosis, and COVID 19
* Has a valid DBS certificate that is on the DBS update service
* Has in date mandatory training certificates
* Indemnity Insurance
In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should possess the following qualities:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate nature and ability to work well under pressure
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
* Car driver is desirable but not mandatory
