Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Outpatient Appointment Booking team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As an Epilepsy Specialist Nurse for Children and Young People - Clinical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient appointment service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional communication skills when interacting with colleagues, patients, relatives, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Constructively manage barriers to effective communication and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Develop and implement procedures to support an efficient and effective outpatient appointment service.
  • Provide flexible cover for colleagues as required and rotate within the Outpatient appointment booking service teams to ensure a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain a high standard of patient care.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Administrative experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Experience of working in a changing environment and understanding of Information Governance, Data Quality, and its requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
