Job Title: Children and Young People Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our Residential Care Team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure the smooth running of the shift
  • Assign tasks and monitor the completion of tasks by support workers
  • Support children and young people to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family
  • Encourage children and young people to integrate with the local community through clubs and leisure activities
  • Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm
  • Undertake housekeeping and maintain standards of hygiene within the home
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual, not automatic)
  • Confidence to ensure your team performs well and are themselves supported by you
  • Person Centred - allowing children and young people to explore and utilise their own strengths
