Shift Pattern : Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Houston & Hawkes are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Hospitality & Events Coordinator to join our team, providing a first class service based at our brand new contract in the heart of London

Our hospitality department caters for working lunches, buffets, teas & coffees as well as canap events and functions.
Hospitality& Events Coordinator Duties:
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
* Have a daily catch up with the Client and update on catering requests for the week ahead
* Taking bookings and update the booking system
* To ensure preparation and service are established in line with client expectations, that they are consistently achieved, reviewed and updated in line with current requirements
* To be aware of changing needs of customers and to develop new products and systems accordingly
* To provide the client with an event quotation prior to their event and ensure the final costs are sent after the event
* To ensure the hospitality brochure is updated and prices checked accordingly
* Be able to pass on any feedback, queries from the event host straight away
* To make recommendations for methods of improving efficiency
* To maximise location income through efficient marketing
* To ensure prompt and accurate completion of all weekly hospitality recharges are carried out and passed on to Finance in a timely manner
* To establish and maintain controls in order to ensure the security of Houston & Hawkes and
* Liaising between customers and chefs and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
* Communicating regularly with the General Manager and Head Chef
* Leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
* Training and setting standards for all Hospitality Assistants
* Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleaning standards
* Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
* Handle customer complaints with professionalism and tact
Hospitality & Events Coordinator Requirements:
* Previous experience as Hospitality & Events Coordinator within contract catering, 5* hotel or fine dining brasserie
* Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
* Passionate, friendly, diligent and a great team player
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and work quickly and efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met irrespective of conflicting priorities
* Diplomatic, with the ability to deal with confidential matters discreetly
