We’re on the lookout for an experienced e-Commerce Manager to join our team here at our Mayborn HQ in Newcastle upon Tyne

This role will report directly to our new Global Head of DTC and work with numerous stakeholders across the business to ensure project efficiency and meet the goals laid out in our DTC road map.

Digital is a key enabler to help us transform how we structure and equip our workforce, engage with our consumers and customers, add benefits to our products and services, and improve our operational excellence going forward. Working within the global ecommerce and marketing team, and alongside global creative services and category functions this role is focused on delivering a best in class e-commerce experience for our consumers aligned with our brand journey.

This role will be based at our Global Headquarters located in Newcastle Upon Tyne and will be required to work in the office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure efficient project delivery of the roadmap against the D2C strategy.
  • Develop 'test and learn' initiatives for the new website and spearhead a continuous UX improvement program with support.
  • Manage all 3rd party software utilised on the website to maximise full potential.
  • Work with the trading department to ensure the website is merchandised aligned to the trading calendar.
  • Work with country managers to deliver localisation plans for the various regions.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the e-commerce websites.
  • Foster close collaboration with diverse teams (Content team, development team, customer service team) to deliver best in class user experiences across the e-commerce websites.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of website performance & KPI`s to help deliver forecast + to further enhance the website experience and user journeys.
  • Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly website reporting against core KPI`s
  • Establish standards, and best practices for website upkeep, product management & website content.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in e-commerce principles and user experience across the industry, offering informed advice to drive business growth.

  • Proven track record of working within a fast-paced e-commerce management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive informed marketing decisions.
  • Experience with Magento systems
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Budget Management Experience.
  • Agency Management and/ or People Management.
