Our client is a charity supporting the needs of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans.

Their project seeks to address the issues faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans armed forces communities, many of whom have found mainstream military charities less accessible to them.

They are now looking for a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to lead on the delivery of this exciting project on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.Generous leave allowance (26 days’ annual leave rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service) (pro rata)

As a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will lead the development and delivery of our client’s project to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans armed forces communities.

You’ll ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of the project, overseeing the steering group and working with individuals to validate lived experience and empower lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans armed forces staff, veterans and families. Working with internal services and national organisations, you’ll develop referral pathways to ongoing mental health and wellbeing support and help to identify support needs. You will also build connections with other providers and networks to bring communities together and increase the reach of the programme.

Lead, develop and deliver an implementation and development plan
- Support the development of a marketing strategy for the project
- To be considered as a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will need:

- Experience of writing reports for funders and commissioners
- The ability to design and deliver online and in-person events
- Great organisational, planning and time management skills
- Other organisations may call this role Project Co-ordinator, Wellbeing Project Co-ordinator, Project Officer, Health Improvement Co-ordinator, Community Mental Health Co-ordinator, or Mental Health Access Co-ordinator.

They are also taking positive action to encourage applications from people of colour (PoC) and other facially minoritised communities, trans, non-binary and/or older people (aged 50+) to improve the representation of colleagues from these communities in their staff team.
