**General Purpose**
- To co ordinate defect works for the aftercare department, investigating and rectifying any defects for clients in their new homes for the 2 year warranty period.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Update inhouse snagging system (Snagmaster)
- Create and maintain defect log sheet
- Appoint works and maintain handyman & contractors diaries
- Draft and send letters to customers
- Deal with ad hoc customer issues
- Validate and process timesheets
- Order supplies
- Working alongside the other Customer care Co Ordinator to ensure a smooth running of the department

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

Essential:

- Customer handling skills
- Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Professional letter writing skills
- Excellent command of English language
- Confident and proactive communicator
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Experience of working in construction or social housing

Desirable:

- Experience of dealing with tenants
- Customer care qualification NVQ or similar
