Construction Project Engineer

Our client is a leading civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundworks for new build housing projects. They are committed to excellence and innovation, ensuring that every project they undertake meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating site operations, ensuring that all civil engineering aspects of their clients new build housing projects are executed to the highest standards.

Setting Out: Accurately setting out and levelling the site in accordance with the project plans.

• Quality Control: Monitoring and inspecting all site work to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulations, and best practices.

• Providing technical guidance and support to the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Project Coordination: Liaising with project managers, architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

• Coordinating the procurement and use of materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the new build housing sector.

• o Proficient in setting out using total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying tools.

o Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

Valid CSCS card. SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable.

• Technology: Familiarity with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
