Key responsibilities in the position of Head of Buying includes:
  • Oversee a comprehensive buying strategy that aligns with the company vision and market demand
  • Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with key suppliers
  • Support in the ongoing relationships and commercial agreements with individual brands
  • Collaborate with the wider teams across Marketing, Retail, E-commerce and Merchandising to ensure alignment of commercial goals/brand vision and product launches and promotional strategies
  • Coach, lead and positively challenge your team to ensure collaboration, commercial effectives and operational optimisation
Successful candidates for the position of Head of Buying will offer the following:
  • An established Head of Buying with a minimum of 7 years experience
  • Hands on knowledge and a genuine appreciation for the luxury retail market
  • Exceptional people skills with the ability to quickly form and further develop key relationships, both internally and externally
  • A strong people leader with experience of managing medium/large sized teams
  • Highly commercial with examples of you have developed buying relationships and the subsequent results of this
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure team, whilst bringing fun to the team and role
