Our client, a leading provider of solar energy & net zero solutions is seeking a Sales Manager to drive the growth and expansion of its offerings within the commercial and industrial sectors. This key role will focus on developing and executing a comprehensive B2B sales strategy while managing a high-performing sales team (2 BDR's and 6 BDM's).
The company is looking to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy market, and this position will be critical in driving new business opportunities and forging relationships with key stakeholders. As the Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement sales strategies tailored to the commercial and industrial markets. You’ll lead a talented sales team, setting targets and KPIs to ensure high performance and professional growth. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, attending industry events, and negotiating large contracts with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives and sustainability officers. Additionally, you will monitor market trends and competitor activities, ensuring that sales strategies are aligned with emerging opportunities and the company’s objectives.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with circa 10 years of B2B sales experience and at least three years in a sales leadership role. Ideally, you will have a proven track record in closing deals within the renewable energy sector or selling net zero business services to UK SMEs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to lead a sales team in a high-growth environment. The right candidate will be highly motivated, target-driven, and able to negotiate effectively while fostering strong relationships with customers and team members alike.
